The original daily Long Shot
Long Shot is a free daily basketball trivia game by The Gravity Report. The longshothoops.org site provides an independent companion page that embeds that original game. This page links to that companion site in the game frame above.
Every daily set has seven NBA prompts. Your task is to name an answer that meets each prompt's exact condition before time expires. Obvious picks earn fewer points; rarer accepted answers score more. The original game says one or two answers on each prompt can be 100-point Buzzer Beaters.
Game details checked against the original Long Shot game and Long Shot Hoops rules.
Take your seven shots
- Select Tip Off inside the embedded game to begin the day's seven prompts.
- Read each prompt's exact conditions. Some ask for a player; others may ask for a college, arena, city or nickname.
- Type one qualifying answer and press Shoot before the 25-second timer runs out. An unaccepted guess does not stop the clock, so you can try again.
- Review your points and move through all seven prompts. The original game publishes a new daily set at midnight in New York.
Use the game's own How to Play control for its complete answer rules and scoring details. If the nested frame is blocked by your browser, open the original game directly using the link above.
